Summary Statement:

The general purpose of retail store associate is to assist customers in finding and purchasing the merchandise they need while maintaining a friendly, comfortable environment.

Responsibilities :

• Greeting customers
• Interact and find out customers' needs
• Performing opening and closing duties
• Be knowledgeable of merchandise to recommend, select and locate for customers
• Sample product and answer questions regarding product
• Process cash and credit payments and package purchases
• Count and balance monies
• Process merchandise returns/exchanges
• Recognize and monitor security issues
• Maintain merchandise displays by stocking, cleaning and organizing
• Receive store merchandise and supplies
• Perform store inventory

Pay:

$8.00 - $9.00 per hour
