Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the item that fits their need. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations. Stock shelves efficiently, organize merchandise displays, and ensure product availability through effective merchandising strategies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floorand stockroom to create an inviting shopping environment. Assist with inventory management by conducting stock checks, processing shipments, and updating product labels. Support customer service initiatives by answering questions and helping visitors to explore the community. Experience Previous retail experience is preferred but not required. We are open to training an applicant who is looking for a position they can grow in. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Strong communication skills in English are essential; multilingual abilities are a bonus for serving diverse communities. Organizational skills for stocking and merchandising are important for maintaining an attractive sales environment.
