Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience Operate the cash register efficiently for transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges Assist customers with product inquiries, offering detailed product demos and upselling relevant items to maximize sales opportunities Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stock replenishment Stock shelves regularly, ensuring products are organized, priced correctly, and accessible Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change or discounts Promote store promotions and special offers to boost sales performance Provide knowledgeable assistance on grocery items or other product categories as needed Maintain professional phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers Support inventory management by conducting stock checks and reporting low inventory levels Supervise or assist in supervising team members when needed to ensure smooth store operations Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain product features and benefits Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos enhances your effectiveness in this role Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of grocery store operations is advantageous but not required Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person Able to work independently.
