Retail Store Associate

Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to meet their needs. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges. Assist with product demos to showcase features and benefits to customers. Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are attractively presented. Conduct upselling by recommending additional items or promotions to increase sales. Manage stock levels through regular stocking, inventory checks, and product replenishment. Handle cashiering duties with accuracy in cash handling and retail math calculations. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments. Support supervising team members during busy periods or when needed to ensure smooth store operations. Engage in product knowledge sharing to educate customers about store offerings. Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred; familiarity with grocery store environments is a plus. Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual abilities are highly valued. Proven supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Knowledge of merchandising, stocking techniques, and product demos is advantageous. Professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities are essential.
