At Panera Bread, Retail Team Members (RTM have the special opportunity to connect with our amazing guests, directly impact the bakery-cafes growing business amd most importantly serve local communities. Support in bringing Panera's 5 Signature Acts to Life and help ensure every guest receives our best. Retail Team Members will execute the duties for their specific areas within the bakery-cafe (e.g. Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, Guest Experience Champion, QC, etc.).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain Quality Bakery-Cafe Operations While Ensuring Guest Satisfaction.--Deliver production or service zone goals while ensuring warmth, cleanliness, quality, speed, and accuracy. Embodies Panera's values as a brand ambassador, modeling warmth, hospitality, and commitment to excellence through every action and interaction. Stays observant, responsive, and efficient in a fast-paced environment, anticipating guest needs and acting with care. Creates a warm, welcoming, and genuine experience for every guest, making each interaction thoughtful and personal. Execute 100% accuracy, speed, quality, and presentation of all orders. Deliver excellent guest service in every circumstance. Teamwork with Team Members and Managers. Timely complete assignment training. Remain informed about the priorities of the day. Keep a positive attitude while facing each task, even the tough ones, and adapt to changes as they arise. Collaborate as a supportive team player, maintaining attention to detail to ensure consistency and quality in every task. Timely complete cleaning and stocking duties-set the next shift up for success. Always follow Panera's dress code and attendance quality guidelines. Operational Excellence. Prepare all food items using the tools and resources available, including measuring tools. Follow processes, disciplines, and routines. Follow all company policies and procedures, including the Cash Handling policy and Code of Conduct. Strictly adhere to health and food safety standards. Respond promptly to guest requests and provide accurate information or assistance. Maintain awareness of the environment to identify opportunities for improving guest satisfaction. Qualifications (Education and Experience). Demonstrate basic food safety understanding and practice Food Handler's Card as required by law. Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. Minimum age of 16yrs of age. Working Conditions. This role requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Physical Requirements. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects 25 pounds. Capability to stand and walk for up to 6hrs. Must be able to clearly communicate and quickly understand guest and team member directions in a loud environment.
