RFID Specialist

Position Summary:

Balfurd, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented RFID Specialist to support the integrity and performance of our RFID tracking systems used throughout our linen rental operations. This position ensures accurate scanning, real-time visibility, and seamless movement of inventory across production, delivery, and customer return points. Attention to detail is essential to maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and accountability in every step of our rental lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all linen and garments are properly tagged and read throughout the soil, clean, and delivery stages Identify and correct missed scans, inaccurate tag placement, or read failures to maintain system accuracy Perform routine audits and validations to ensure RFID data integrity Collaborate with production, service, and route teams to reinforce scanning accuracy and best practices Train employees on proper RFID use, tag placement, and reader operation Analyze system reports and scanning data to identify trends or errors Assist with new equipment installation, software updates, and vendor support needs Maintain a clean, organized, and functional scanning environment to prevent equipment interference or failure

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience working with RFID, barcode, or production tracking systems Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with technical equipment Strong communication skills and ability to work well across departments Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively

Compensation:

Hourly pay is commensurate with experience Eligible for company benefits including health insurance, 401(k) with match, and paid time off

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and move in production areas for extended periods Occasionally lift or carry up to 30 lbs.
