Seasonal Sanitation Team Member

Education & Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age. Must be able to work with others and independently. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to squat, kneel, bend, and climb.

Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the public restrooms for our park guests. Adheres to cleaning schedules and job duties to meet company standards. May assist in maintaining cleanliness in other areas of the park. Starting rate for this position is $14.00 per hour.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of park restrooms and storage areas. Perform cleaning and general upkeep for restroom facilities on a scheduled basis. Clean and sanitize all toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors, fixtures, walls by sweeping/mopping/scrubbing, and hosing to ensure surfaces remain free of dirt and residue. Remove trash from all restroom receptacles. Monitor all restroom locations for any damages or safety hazards and report as needed to maintenance or management. Utilize proper protective equipment as directed and follow all safety procedures when completing work. Maintain cleanliness and organization of other park areas as directed. Monitor and stock cleaning supplies, equipment and chemicals as needed. Must work in various weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail, cold.

Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality. Report to and from work at assigned time. Complete other duties as assigned. Must be honest and reliable. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis. Adhere to dress code policy.
