MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's degree, required. Bachelor's degree, preferred.
• Two years direct experience treating persons with severe mental illness.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY

• Read, analyze, interpret professional journals, policy and procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Clearly and cogently document clinical information in accordance with Gateway policy and procedure.
• Write reports and general correspondence.
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from professionals, managers, clients, family members, and the general public.
• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.
• Analyze client and system information, evaluate staff, identify problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, develop options and strategies for resolving problems, monitor implementation, and evaluate the problem-solving process for effectiveness.
• Ability to successfully complete all required training and certifications.
• Oral and written communication skills, including speech, grammar, spelling, and legibility are at a sufficient level to ensure effective and appropriate communication.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals either manually or by use of a calculator.
