Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized RN to join our team in a leadership role as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with primary duties centered around Staff Development, Infection Preventionist, and Quality Assurance. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting clinical operations, coordinating staff education, and overseeing infection prevention activities within our organization. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care practices, infection prevention protocols, and regulatory compliance. Candidates should have experience in a healthcare setting such as a hospital, nursing home, rehabilitation center, or similar clinical environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to ensure staff competency, regulatory compliance, and high-quality resident care. Responsibilities Conduct general orientation and onboarding education for new staff. Coordinate and complete annual skills competencies and ongoing education for clinical staff. Monitor employee health requirements including vaccination consents and required documentation. Conduct infection surveillance and track infection trends within the facility. Complete required infection reporting through regulatory systems such as NHSN. Educate staff on infection prevention protocols and best practices. Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations and nursing staff support. Monitor clinical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to staff education, infection control, and nursing operations. Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and regulatory readiness activities. Ensure staff adherence to safety protocols and best practices within the facility.
Pay:
$87,360.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:
