Key Qualifications:

Valid and current Registered Nurse license in Michigan Minimum 2 years' experience in an inpatient Medical-Surgical setting Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment Effective communication abilities to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and patients

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adult Med Surg patients Monitor, document, and report changes in patient conditions to physicians and other care team members Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and in accordance with clinical protocols Educate patients and families about plans of care, recovery processes, and health management strategies Maintain patient safety and uphold infection control standards throughout all nursing activities Participate in care coordination and interdisciplinary rounds to support patient-centered clinical outcomes
