Key Qualifications & Experience:

Current, active RN license in good standing Recent experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) unit Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills BLS certification (required); additional certifications appreciated

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in the Med Surg unit Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Monitor patient status and promptly report any changes Administer prescribed medications and treatments with accuracy Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and other team members to coordinate patient care Educate patients and their families on procedures, treatments, and post-discharge care Accurately document patient care activities in accordance with facility protocols
