Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Advance your career as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, providing critical support and high-quality care to diverse adult patient populations. This contract opportunity calls for a compassionate professional ready to adapt in a fast-paced environment, using expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive patient care.
Key Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted RN license Minimum of one year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (MS) unit Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as assigned Ability to adapt to new settings and follow facility protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform thorough and ongoing patient assessments, updating care plans based on clinical judgement and patient response Administer medications and IV fluids, monitor vital signs, and provide detailed documentation in patient records Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and coordinate patient care strategies Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and ongoing care needs Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, intervening appropriately Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and hospital policies Provide emotional support and act as an advocate for patients during hospital stays If you are dedicated and adaptable, and you thrive in challenging clinical environments, this role offers an excellent chance to expand your skills and make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.
