Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Travel Nestled in the heart of Louisiana, Deville offers a unique blend of southern charm and vibrant cultural experiences. As a travel nurse in this inviting community, you'll have the chance to gain hands-on experience in a high-acuity emergency department while exploring the scenic beauty and renowned hospitality of the region. Schedule:
Nights, 7PM - 7AM Full-time, 36 hours per week Every other weekend required No on-call or floating In this role, you'll manage a varied patient population, seeing cases such as strokes, cardiovascular events, diabetes complications, wound care, behavioral health, sepsis, and occasional trauma—all within a fast-paced setting perfect for nurses seeking to grow their expertise and leadership capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current RN license (state of employment or compact) BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the AHA required TNCC certification required Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Minimum of 1 year ER (or relevant specialty) experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive patient care aligned with established nursing standards Conduct assessments, formulate diagnoses, and implement individualized care plans Administer medications, monitor for reactions, and evaluate effectiveness Document patient histories, treatments, and progress accurately Educate patients and families, addressing complex psychosocial needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and delegate tasks as appropriate
