Responsibilities:

Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine immediate needs and ongoing treatment plans. Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions, utilizing aseptic techniques to prevent infection. Manage airway support with ventilators and assist with advanced respiratory care procedures. Conduct diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection, processing, and interpretation of results. Monitor patients closely for signs of acute pain or deterioration, implementing appropriate interventions promptly. Document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Collaborate with physicians and specialists in areas including cardiology, infectious disease care, trauma medicine, and hospice & palliative medicine to develop individualized care plans. Assist with complex procedures such as catheterizations, suturing, ostomy care, and gastric lavage. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to safeguard patient privacy and safety.

Experience :

Minimum 18 months of PCU RN experience

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
