Job Description

Our Lady of Prompt Succor is looking to add a dedicated RN Weekend Supervisor to their team!! A Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor at a skilled nursing facility (SNF) provides clinical leadership, ensures quality patient care, and oversees nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) during weekends. They act as an extension of the Director of Nursing, managing admissions, conducting rounds, and handling emergencies.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership:
Supervise weekend nursing staff, manage clinical operations, and handle emergencies while upholding quality standards.
Resident Care:
Conduct rounds to evaluate patient health, monitor for changes in condition, and assist with complex treatments.
Staff Oversight:
Make staffing assignments, manage personnel, and provide coaching, mentoring, or discipline as needed.
Administrative Tasks:
Review documentation for accuracy, ensure compliance with state/federal regulations, and assist with admissions or discharges.
Communication:
Serve as the liaison between physicians, families, and staff to ensure effective care coordination.
Requirements Licensure:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years of nursing experience, ideally in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation settings.
Skills:
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills; ability to work independently
