Our flaggers play a critical role in protecting construction teams, travelers, and the community every single day. Responsibilities Control traffic flow through construction and road work zones Communicate clearly with drivers, equipment operators, and crew members Maintain safe work zones for both workers and the public Use stop/slow paddles, radios, cones, and barricades properly Remain alert and professional in changing traffic and weather conditions Follow all CDOT safety standards and jobsite procedures Assist crews with basic labor duties when needed Requirements Reliable transportation required Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-minded Ability to stand for long periods outdoors in varying weather Strong communication and teamwork skills Construction or traffic control experience is a plus CDOT Certification preferred, but MTS Staffing may assist qualified candidates with certification opportunities.
