MTS Staffing is now hiring Road Flaggers and Traffic Controllers throughout Summit County including Dillon, Silverthorne, Frisco, Breckenridge, Keystone, and surrounding mountain communities. Whether you're already certified or looking to enter the traffic control industry, this is an opportunity to work outdoors, earn competitive pay, and become the "safety conductor" of active road projects throughout Colorado's busiest mountain corridors. In Summit County, dependable workers are critical, especially during busy construction and tourism seasons. Our flaggers play a major role in protecting road crews, locals, and visitors traveling through active work zones every day. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a hardworking crew, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Control traffic flow through construction and road work zones Communicate clearly with drivers, equipment operators, and crew members Maintain safe work zones for both workers and the public Use stop/slow paddles, radios, cones, and barricades properly Remain alert and professional in changing traffic and weather conditions Follow all CDOT safety standards and jobsite procedures Assist crews with basic labor duties when needed Requirements Reliable transportation required Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-minded Ability to stand for long periods outdoors in varying weather Strong communication and teamwork skills Construction or traffic control experience is a plus CDOT Certification preferred, but MTS Staffing may assist qualified candidates with certification opportunities.
