40.0 Responsibilities Program robotic systems, including material handling, welding, and Cobot units, to ensure efficient operation. Develop and implement optimal weld processes for automated systems, making programming updates as needed. Monitor all processes for efficiency, suggest improvements, and develop procedures for consistent output. Assist production with preventive maintenance and repairs of robotic systems. Troubleshoot equipment and operational issues; develop short- and long-term solutions. Remove waste and non-value-added time from weld processes to improve productivity. Create system operation guides and train operators on the best methods for operation and quick touch-ups. Own automation OEE reporting to track performance metrics. Develop standard work instructions and job aids to support process consistency. Define best-in-class processes and identify equipment needs to meet company objectives, including weld automation and fixturing. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Proven experience in robotic welding system programming. Familiarity with Fanuc Roboguide programming software. Basic MIG welding skills or understanding of related principles. Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on robotic systems. Experience with Fanuc and Yaskawa robotics preferred. Related experience in measuring and improving OEE performance. BS degree or AS/ASS with equivalent experience. Minimum 3-5 years of programming robotic welding systems. Physical ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for up to 10 hours per day.
