Job Description
MANE is a 5th generation French family-owned business known for innovation and progress in the world of Flavor and Fragrance. The Process Operator I operates Production equipment safely and effectively to create flavor batches that meet all health and safety standards. Interacts with Production, Quality, Planning and Purchasing, Sales, and other internal departments as needed.

2-3-2 schedule, day shift 6am-6:30pm .DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain strict adherence to equipment SOPs, GMP standards, food & flavor regulations (kosher), and documentation requirements. Adhere to all safety protocols, including use of engineering controls and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe workplace for all employees. Operate Production equipment according to product manufacturing instructions to produce high quality product in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Utilize equipment and facility computer programs to effectively maintain process and material data related to manufacturing requirements. Store ingredients in the proper location with the proper closure of partial ingredient to prevent contamination. Assure proper documentation is reported including amounts used, lot numbers, yields, metal detection, etc. Label raw materials, finished goods, and supplies properly. Maintain at least a "Quality Contributor" rating throughout the year as an Operator. Actively participate in periodic continuous improvement and training sessions to increase understanding of, and abilities related to, safety, quality, productivity, materials, and equipment operation Assure proper cleaning of equipment and work area and complete sanitation logs. Other duties as assigned by management. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Ability to work with PLC/distributive computer controls. Knowledge of basic mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Flavor industry desired.
