We provide 20, 30, and 40-yard roll-off dumpsters to individuals and businesses for projects of all sizes. Our clients include all kinds of people from contractors and builders to landscapers to homeowners and business owners. We help keep homes, businesses, and backyards clean and junk-free. Our Culture and Company Texas Elite Disposal is a small family-owned company with 5 total employees and looking for growth. Our focus is providing exceptional customer service on all levels, from our Chief Operating Officer to our CDL drivers. We work as a team to achieve the same goal. To learn more about who we are and what we do, please visit our website at www.texaselitedisposal.com Job Description Texas Elite Disposal is looking for an experienced truck driver to deliver roll-off dumpsters to commercial and residential customers in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities Transport roll-off dumpster to customer location in a timely and professional manner Inspect trucks for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Manage proof of delivery paperwork from customers Report defects, accidents, or violations Skills and Experience Proven work experience as a truck driver Ability to drive long hours and rotate on-call shifts Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc) Valid truck driving license Excellent customer service skills Good communication skills Ability to work independently Strong interpersonal skills Be responsible and timely Good knowledge of roads Ability to work under pressure Strong work ethic Read customer and dispatch orders and follow safety regulations
