About B-Raines B-Raines Slate & Solar Roofing is a veteran-owned roofing company specializing in premium roofing systems and storm restoration. With over two decades of experience, we've built a reputation for quality craftsmanship, integrity, and customer-first service across Missouri and Illinois. Overview The Sales Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and growing the roofing sales team to achieve revenue goals while delivering exceptional customer service. This role oversees sales performance, develops sales strategies, manages signed jobs from start to finish, manages lead flow, and ensures all team members follow company processes and standards. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with experience in roofing, construction, or in-home sales who can drive results and build strong customer relationships. Responsibilities Build relationships with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and referral partners Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services Lead, manage, and grow the roofing sales team Train and coach team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and company processes Set sales goals and monitor team performance to ensure targets are met Develop strategies to increase sales revenue and market growth Manage signed jobs from start to finish: orders, materials, supplements, inspections, collections, photos & documentation. Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Ability to train, coach, and develop sales representatives Knowledge of roofing systems, insurance restoration, and storm damage claims Strong negotiation and closing abilities Ability to read estimates, contracts, and scope of work documents Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Proven experience in sales, preferably in roofing, construction, or home improvement Previous sales management or team leadership experience Strong ability to lead, motivate, and coach a sales team Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals
