Rotating Equipment Planner HF Sinclair Corporation medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Wyoming, Sinclair Apr 16, 2026 Basic Function HF Sinclair in Sinclair, WY is seekling a Rotating Equipment Maintenance Planner who conducts maintenance planning and scheduling assignments for rotating equipment under limited supervision. Improves the efficiency, reliability, and safety of maintenance processes through the development of accurate, safe, and costeffective job plans, schedules, and work scopes for rotating equipment assets. Job Duties
Candidate should have effective communication skills, ability to facilitate large meetings, and have a continuous improvement mindset.
- Plans and schedules maintenance work for rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, fans, blowers, and gearboxes.
- Develops detailed job plans including scope, procedures, labor, materials, tools, and safety requirements.
- Creates andmaintainsbills of material, drawings, and equipment documentation.
- Coordinates with Operations, Engineering, Reliability,Purchasing, andcontractors.
- Estimates labor, materials, and costs for work orders.
- Maintainequipment bills of material, drawings, and technical documentation within the CMMS
- Verifies vendor drawings, inspections, and specifications.
- Performs field walkdowns and job readiness reviews.
- Supports turnaround, outage, and major overhaul planning.
- Ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and mechanical integrity requirements.

Preferred:
Proficiency in the use of Prometheus or a similar maintenance scheduling tool preferred. Knowledge of refinery operations and maintenance thereof. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility May provide occasional relief supervisory responsibilities of hourly maintenance employees for various foremen, or direct supervision of five salaried employees and leadership and indirect supervision to other salaried employees of the maintenance department and hourly employees as needed. Work Conditions Office and field based and with up to 5% by land and air require. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, and out-of-doors environment and driver based environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment, electrical shock, and working in confined spaces. Periodic overtime required. Required to respond to plant related emergencies and be available after hours during critical business situations depending on location.
