Route Delivery Driver - Class A CDL

Overview We are seeking an energetic and dependable Route Delivery Driver with a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our team. You will be responsible for securing, loading, transporting, and delivering products to customer locations utilizing a 26' automatic shift box truck. Responsibilities Safely operate a 26' box truck vehicle along designated delivery routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Deliver products efficiently to multiple customer locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain organized delivery schedules and route plans to optimize efficiency and productivity Provide excellent customer service by engaging positively with clients, answering questions, and addressing needs during deliveries Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met Communicate effectively regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered Operate a forklift to load and unload items onto and off truck and semi-trailers, sometimes by hand if needed Move empty trailers into docks and loaded trailers from docks to staging areas using a single axle semi Move trailer loads of stock to warehouse when needed Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or related logistics roles Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading processes Organizational skills to manage daily routes efficiently and adhere to schedules Experience operating a forklift Regular work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm. Overtime may be required, including some weekends based on business need.
