Job Description

Route Technician -
Doodie Free Pay:
$18.00 during training, $19/hour base + recurring tips (consistently earn over $20+ per hour) Job description: Doodie Free is a small but growing dog waste removal company serving Greater Cincinnati. We are an owner-operated small business, run hands-on with high expectations for professionalism, accountability, and respect for our customers and equipment. We're looking for a well-rounded, dependable, hard-working individual who takes pride in showing up, doing thorough work, and representing a service business the right way. This job is simple in nature, but it is physically demanding and requires consistency, maturity, and personal responsibility. If you are feeling overlooked or undervalued at your current job, this could be a great fit. We are a small business, which means your effort matters, your feedback is heard, and you'll work directly with an owner who genuinely cares about building a good team. What You'll Do Starting from our home-based business in Madiera, clean dog waste from residential/commercial yards using company-provided tools and vehicles Follow a detailed, sanitary cleaning process to ensure no waste is missed Work independently on assigned routes with minimal supervision Maintain clean, organized equipment and vehicles Communicate professionally with management and customers as needed Represent the company with a clean, professional appearance and attitude What We Offer $18/hour during paid training. Hourly pay is $19 per hour, and we have recurring tips from clients so you will not make below $20 per hour thereafter (usually averaging $21/22 once trained) Quarterly performance and attendance-based bonuses Best in-class commission opportunities for upselling services Company-provided vehicle during work hours (later optional to take home) Paid uniform Optional cross-training with our sister company, Spruce Home Services (window cleaning, gutter cleaning, etc.) for additional income Opportunity to grow into additional hours, responsibility, or leadership for the right person What We're Looking For Extremely reliable and punctual — attendance and follow-through are critical, especially with a small team and business. In this industry you must be reliable. Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons (heat, cold, rain, light snow) Physically capable of walking, bending, and performing light lifting throughout the day Able to work independently and manage time effectively Well-rounded, mature, and professional in behavior and communication Takes care of equipment and respects company property Valid driver's license and clean driving record Work Standards (Please Read Carefully) No smoking or vaping in company vehicles or on customer properties Must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol while working What you do on your own time is your business — while working, professionalism and safety are required Company vehicles and equipment must be treated with care and respect at all times Dependable attendance is essential; personal errands and appointments should be handled outside scheduled work hours Schedule Primarily, we are mainly looking for someone who can work Tuesdays and Wednesdays, starting at 7:00am in the summer and working until route is complete, usually around 2-4:30pm. Extra hours may be available to help cover employee call offs, vacations, or busier route days. Currently, our routes operate Monday through Saturday. New team members will usually start with a very part-time schedule while training and getting comfortable in the role. If that schedule works well for both sides, it can remain as-is, or there may be opportunities to take on longer or full-day routes once fully trained. Because we are a small, owner-operated business, we work together to balance each other's schedules and remain flexible when additional help is needed on certain days. Schedules may occasionally be adjusted due to weather (including snow days) or route changes due to holidays. Lastly Our work is simple, honest, and genuinely appreciated by our customers — but it requires someone who is reliable, professional, and willing to take pride in a job well done. If you're looking for more than just a paycheck and want to grow with a small business that values accountability, performance, and a great attitude we'd love to hear from you! Thank you.
