Job Title:
Safety Administrative Assistant Job Description We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Safety Administrative Assistant to support documentation and quality control efforts at a peptide facility. This role plays a critical part in the research and development of molecular therapies aimed at combating disease. The facility is a key component of a larger complex, with the overall project recently expanding from an initial $290 million scope to over $490 million, and is scheduled for completion by 2027. The Safety Administrative Assistant will help maintain the flow of records, reports, and all documentation, ensuring smooth coordination with field teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, approachable, and thrives in a structured, team-oriented environment. This is a 12-18 month contract role based in Lebanon, Indiana, offering 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling and up to 10 hours of overtime available. Responsibilities Maintain and update safety documentation, including inspection reports and test results. Coordinate with field teams to ensure proper documentation control of inspections and onboarding. Support the Safety Manager in preparing reports for clients and project leadership. Organize and maintain quality-related files in both digital and physical formats. Essential Skills 1 year of experience in a clerical, administrative, or document control role. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team. Comfortable working 50-60 hours per week. Professional maturity and discretion when handling sensitive information. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a construction or industrial environment. Familiarity with construction or quality control software. Experience in a clerical or administrative support role. Experience supporting onboarding or training documentation. Strong organizational habits with repetitive, process-driven tasks. Ability to adapt to changing daily priorities on a construction site. Pharmaceutical experience. Work Environment The position is based at the peptide trailer in Lebanon, Indiana. The role offers guaranteed 40+ hours per week, with exposure to large-scale construction safety operations. The work environment is structured and team-oriented, providing an opportunity for long-term placement or transition into other administrative roles on-site. The schedule includes a start time of 6 am, with some Saturday hours required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lebanon, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
