No appointment needed. We are east of Carson City, and west of Dayton, off of Highway 50. PPF is a full-production casting foundry working exclusively in clean, versatile aluminum alloys. Position Summary The Safety Coordinator partners with supervisors and management by enforcing safety policies and procedures that comply with legal regulations. They assess risks, conduct training, investigate incidents, and promote a culture of safety across the organization. They also monitor compliance with safety standards, maintain accurate records, and provide recommendations to reduce hazards and prevent accidents. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety plans and policies that comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections to identify hazards and enforce safety protocols.
• Lead safety training sessions and presentations to educate employees on safe work practices and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.
• Monitor workplace compliance with safety laws and company policies; prepare safety reports and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with management and employees to foster a safety-first culture and continuous improvements in safety practices.
• Administer safety-related permits, equipment, and emergency preparedness plans.
• Keep up to date with OSHA standards and regulations, and adjust policies as needed. Expectations
• Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Develop and maintain clear and effective communication about safety responsibilities to all employees.
• Maintain thorough records and provide timely reports to management.
• Promote safety awareness and motivate employee participation in safety initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze data and perform risk assessments.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

WEEKENDS OFF!

The work schedule is Mondays through Thursdays from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
