Job Description

Bristol Pipe and Tube, a leading manufacturer of stainless steel, nickel alloys, duplex and moly grades of welded pipe, has operated from its current location in Bristol, TN since 1965. Safety is our main priority and number one focus. With a dedicated team of approximately 165 employees, we bring decades of experience and diverse product offerings to demanding industrial applications where reliability, quality control and corrosion resistance are critical. We are a subsidiary of Ta Chen International and remain committed to domestic production, prioritizing American-made materials and serving our customers with quality products. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic Safety Coordinator to join our team. This position will be assisting our Safety Manager and interact directly with employees, promote a Safety culture and support a learning environment Principle Duties Coordinate, schedule and conduct Safety training Identify and categorize hazards via risk matrix Accurate record keeping and document management including SDS documents Compile and participate in the delivery of Safety information to all employees Attend pre-shift meetings while engaging employees in Safety discussions Perform daily walks through the facility to identify and report risks Review, create, and update Standard Operating Procedures Qualifications Experience with the basic understanding of TOSHA and TDEC rules and regulations Ability to identify potential risks within cross functional areas Strong Microsoft Office Suite knowledge Self-motivated along with the ability to successfully multi-task Excellent verbal and written communication skills OSHA 10 and OHSA 30 certifications preferred Education High school graduate with 2 years industrial environmental Safety experience preferred Work Environment Exposure to weather related elements
