Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Safety Director to lead our organization's safety and health initiatives across construction projects and operational sites. This vital role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs that promote a culture of safety excellence. The Safety Director will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, manage risk effectively, and foster a proactive safety environment that protects our workforce and assets. Join us to drive safety standards forward and make a meaningful impact on our projects and team members. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), Workers' Compensation regulations, and other applicable laws. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and promote a safe working environment across all construction sites. Lead risk management efforts by assessing potential hazards, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring proactive incident prevention measures are in place. Manage compliance with EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) standards through the use of construction management software and other tools to track safety performance metrics. Coordinate occupational health initiatives, including ergonomic assessments, injury prevention programs, and wellness strategies for workers. Provide training sessions on OSHA regulations, construction site safety practices, hazard recognition, and emergency response procedures for staff at all levels. Investigate accidents or safety incidents thoroughly, document findings accurately, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a strong focus on safety oversight across multiple projects or sites. In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, Workers' Compensation processes, NEC standards, and compliance management practices. Demonstrated expertise in risk management techniques specific to construction environments. Familiarity with occupational health principles and EHS best practices within the construction industry. Proficiency in construction management software and construction site experience to effectively monitor safety performance. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence a culture of safety throughout the organization. Relevant certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), OSHA 30-hour or 500-hour training are highly desirable. Join us to champion safety excellence! Pay:
$58,888.94 - $70,920.01 per year
