Safety Director

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Safety Director to lead our organization's safety and compliance initiatives across construction projects. In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that promote a culture of safety excellence. Your expertise will ensure that all construction activities adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices, fostering a safe environment for all team members, contractors, and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence safety standards on large-scale projects and drive continuous improvement in occupational health and safety performance. Duties Develop and execute robust safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations, Workers' Compensation guidelines, and other relevant standards. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, assess risks related to construction management, and ensure compliance with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) protocols. Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Coordinate risk management strategies by evaluating project plans, construction management software data, and site conditions to mitigate potential hazards. Provide expert guidance on occupational health issues, including ergonomics, exposure controls, and wellness initiatives for construction teams. Manage compliance documentation, training programs, and reporting processes to meet federal, state, and local regulations. Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into daily operations and foster a proactive safety culture across all construction sites. Experience Proven experience in construction management with a strong focus on safety leadership within large-scale projects. Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards, NEC codes, Workers' Compensation procedures, and compliance management practices. Demonstrated expertise in risk management techniques specific to the construction industry. Hands-on experience with EHS programs and construction site experience that includes hazard assessments and safety audits. Proficiency in using construction management software for tracking safety metrics and reporting. Strong understanding of occupational health principles related to construction environments. Pay:

$85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
