Safety Manager - Heavy Civil / Site Development

Overview We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager in the Columbus area to oversee safety programs, field compliance, and training for heavy civil, earthwork, utilities, and site development projects. Responsibilities Implement and enforce company safety policies Conduct site audits, inspections, and incident investigations Lead safety orientations and ongoing training Maintain OSHA compliance and required documentation Support project teams with hazard analysis and site-specific safety plans Promote a strong safety culture across all field operations Qualifications 5+ years safety management in construction (heavy civil/sitework preferred) Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and industry best practices Experience with field inspections, reporting, and training Excellent communication and leadership skills Relevant safety certifications (OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, or similar) preferred Why Join Us Stable contractor with consistent work volume Competitive pay and benefits Strong team environment and long-term advancement opportunities If you are interested in this Safety Manager role in the Columbus area please apply!
