Safety Professional

Overview YellowBird is seeking safety coverage for an active data center low-voltage project in Ashburn, Virginia. The engagement calls for a dedicated, full-time Site Safety Professional to provide daily on-site safety oversight, crew engagement, and documentation in coordination with the Client's State Director and the general contractor's safety team. YellowBird will source, vet, and place a qualified professional who can hit the ground running and integrate seamlessly with the Client's existing operations. Engagement Overview Schedule = Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (40 hours/week) Duration = Minimum 12 months from placement (May 2026 to May 2027, with extension option) Certifications & Credentials OSHA 30-Hour Construction (required for site access) BCSP Certification (CHST or STSC minimum) OSHA 10-Hour Construction Scope of Responsibilities Conduct daily site safety walks, morning huddles, and safety stand-downs with field crews Identify, document, and correct jobsite hazards; manage hot work permits and daily safety documentation Attend general contractor safety meetings and coordinate with multi-trade safety personnel on site Serve as the Client on-site safety point of contact, reporting to the State Director on all safety matters What's Offered Competitive hourly compensation based on experience @ $75/hr Full time schedule with consistent hours Payroll, taxes, and insurance fully managed by YellowBird Dedicated safety program support throughout the assignment Opportunity to support a high impact project How to
