Responsibility The Safety Technician supports the EHS Assistant Manager in implementing and maintaining workplace safety programs within a high-volume automotive stamping and robotic manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for monitoring daily safety compliance, supporting hazard identification and mitigation, and helping drive a strong safety culture across the plant. Educate associates in multi areas including OSHA standards. Ensure associates skills are to standard for operation of operational equipment. Support (ATA) efforts to promote Corporate Social Responsibility, (CSR) and ensure activities are carried out in cooperation with G-TEKT CSR, and Corporate Governance initiatives and activities to ensure compliance in functional areas of responsibility. Verify compliance with LOTO procedures during maintenance and setup activities. Follow up on open safety issues to ensure timely resolution and proper documentation. Participate in daily production or tier meetings to communicate safety updates and risks. Assist with onboarding and safety orientation for new hires and contractors. Ensure safety signage, PPE availability, and hazard communication materials are current and compliant. Coordinate corrective actions with maintenance and engineering teams for identified hazards.
