Role Overview:
The Sales Agronomist II will be responsible for managing existing and attracting new customers within the sales territory, assisting customers with proper product selection and use based on agronomic needs, and maintaining and developing profitable customer relationships. Role:
Manage existing and attract new customers within the sales territory. Assist customers in selecting and using products based on agronomic needs. Maintain and develop profitable customer relationships. Identify new key customers, understand their businesses, determine their needs, and support the team in achieving sales goals and growth. Assist with territory budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Follow credit policies and manage risks for the company. Coordinate an annual business plan that optimizes growth and profitability for the territory and gains the manager's approval. Implement marketing and sales plans; meet sales goals; and network with industry representatives to expand sales opportunities. Be the primary customer contact for deliveries, forecasting, credit, complaint handling, and custom applications, bringing issues to management's attention. What You Bring to the
Role:
3+ years of experience Ability to work independently Willingness to travel throughout the territory and to periodic sales meetings Knowledge of herbicides and fertilizers (dry and liquid) Developing a working knowledge of local agricultural crops and market practices Proficient with computers, utilizing Microsoft Office and Windows applications Agronomy/Agribusiness degree What Makes You a

Compensation and Benefits:
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $52,400
  • $69,880.
Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
