Sales and Logistics Coordinator

Overview As the Sales/Logistics Coordinator the candidate would act as the central link between sales, production/quarries, and customer delivery, ensuring that bulk materials (topsoil, fill dirt, sand, gravel) are sold, scheduled, and delivered efficiently. This role manages the entire order cycle, from initial customer inquiry and material specification to scheduling specialized dump truck transport and final delivery to construction sites.

Duties Coordinate Shipments:

Schedule inbound and outbound freight.

Track Inventory:

Monitor stock levels.

Monitor Loads Sold Manage Documents:

Prepare custom forms, bills of lading, and shipping manifests; any documents as required.

Sales & Vendor Relations:

Daily phone calls as required to sell North Bound Loads and South Bound Loads, negotiate rates and resolve service issues with suppliers.

Problem Solving:

Address transit delays, damaged goods, and delivery discrepancies quickly.

Compliance Control:

Ensure all shipments meet local, state, and international regulations.

Key Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

2-4 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or warehouse routing.

Word and Excel Soft Skills:

Strong negotiation, analytical problem-solving, and clear communication abilities.

Pay:

$17.00 - $22.50 per hour
