C&T Design and Equipment Co., Inc. is a full concept food service design and equipment supply company that provides services from conception to completion, including consulting, design, development, engineering, project management, and installation. With offices across the US, we are a large, privately-owned commercial food service equipment dealer with over 150 employees. We are seeking a full-time Sales Assistant to support our Northern Cincinnati, Ohio branch as part of our internal growth strategy. The person who fills this position will need to be in-office in North Cincinnati.

Role Overview:

As a Sales Assistant, you will be the operational backbone of our sales department. This role will blend critical administrative oversight with direct sales enablement. You will be responsible for maintaining organized client accounts, executive daily office operations, managing data workflows, and delivering high-level customer service to continuously exceed our customers' expectations. C&T Design will provide the employee with the necessary equipment and technology to be successful in this role.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Sales Enablement:

Provide dedicated support to Sales Representatives to streamline the pipeline, assisting with projects, manufacturer purchase orders, vendor quotes, and pricing matrices. ✔

Customer and Vendor Relations:

Act as a direct point of contact for customers and transportation partners, managing order inquiries, logistics tracking, and post-sale warranty support. ✔

Data and CRM Management:

Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer, inventory, and shipment data within modern CRM and ERP systems. ✔

Project Logistics:

Oversee order lifecycles from initial quoting and manufacturer tracking to final delivery coordination and project documentation (including Notices of Furnishings). ✔

Technical Coordination:

Collaborate with product support teams to clarify customer needs and resolve project bottlenecks efficiently.

Education & Experience:

Education:

High School Diploma required; University Degree strongly preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years in a clerical, administrative, sales, and/or construction management role is preferred.

Software Proficiency:

High proficiency with modern digital workplaces, specifically Microsoft 365 (Work, Outlook, Excel). ✔

CRM and Data Systems:

Experience utilizing CRM platforms and ERP software to manage pipelines and inventory. ✔

Problem Solving:

Strong critical thinking skills with a proven ability to resolve project bottlenecks and logistics issues independently. ✔

Technical Aptitude:

The ability to rapidly learn and understand technical product specifications for commercial kitchen equipment and spaces. ✔

Communication:

Outstanding written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills.
