Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team at 7-Eleven. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing transactions, stocking merchandise, and ensuring a clean and welcoming store environment. If you are self-motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, this is the job for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly, assist with their needs, and provide information about products and promotions.
Sales Transactions:
Operate the cash register, process transactions, handle returns and refunds, and ensure accurate money handling.
Stocking & Merchandising:
Restock shelves, ensure products are properly labeled and displayed, and monitor inventory levels.
Store Maintenance:
Keep the store clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and maintaining stockroom and display areas.
Compliance:
Adhere to company policies, including health and safety regulations, and ensure proper handling of age-restricted products (e.g., tobacco, alcohol).
Problem-Solving:
Address and resolve customer issues or complaints in a professional manner.
Teamwork:
Collaborate with team members and store leadership to maintain an efficient and enjoyable shopping environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required). Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
