As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while driving sales and promoting our products. You will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience, assisting customers with their needs, and maintaining an organized store environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering inquiries. Operate cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently to process transactions. Utilize retail math skills to manage sales transactions accurately and handle cash effectively. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and promote special offers. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer interest. Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are appealing. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone. Assist in supervising junior staff members when required, fostering a collaborative team environment. Experience Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is essential. Strong understanding of retail math concepts to manage transactions accurately. Proven ability in upselling products and enhancing the customer shopping experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on effective interaction with customers. Experience in product demonstrations is a plus, showcasing the ability to engage customers effectively.
