Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell related products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Manage phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, organizing stockroom areas, and participating in regular stock counts Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar store environments Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math calculations Strong communication skills with an energetic, friendly demeanor Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory tasks efficiently Knowledge of grocery store operations and customer service best practices is desirable Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail calculations Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while growing your career in retail!
