As a Sales Coordinator for Resort Sales, you will provide clerical support to a group of Sales Managers within the Convention Sales team. You will assist Sales Managers with client-facing activities and handle transactions for accounts, while maintaining heavy volume of communication with both guests and partners. This is an hourly full time role, based on site and reporting to the Sales Director.You Will:
- Support Sales Managers with sales opportunities, pre-arrival details and all necessary clerical work while handling a heavy email and instant messaging volume
- Prepare all logistics and documentation for client site visits
- Handle details of sales trips for the team including booking and confirming travel arrangements, pre-trip research, coordinate necessary materials and sales kit preparation
- Complete managers and clients requests including dining reservations, backstage clearance, ground transportation arrangements, ticket purchases and general questions about Disney World products and offerings
- Provide data entry support for documents and contracts as requested by leadership
- Request park venue reservations and work with Sales and Services Managers to coordinate venue space moves
- Correspond with vendors and partners for client amenities offered
- Request group history reports, process expense reports, create client files and prepare files for audits
- Correspond with partners regarding VIP's
- Prepare and ship materials and packages
You Have:
- Current or previous Disney experience
- Minimum 6 months of work experience in complex guest service role or administrative role
- Knowledge of Hospitality Industry, including processes and work flows
- High proficiency creating Excel reports, communicating using Outlook and capability to adapt to new technology and computer applications quickly
- Knack for establishing trusting relationships with leaders and partners to move the operation forward to the next level of excellence
- Capability to share communication across teams to ensure everyone understands updates, priorities and appropriate course of escalation
- Disposition to proactively take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
- Capability to discover, understand and communicate client needs clearly and effectively
- High competency managing requests and priorities simultaneously amidst constant change
- Creativity to use technology to create innovative solutions for the team and clients
It Would Be Great If You Also Have:
- Proficient with the Disney Advantage tools
- Knowledge of Lightyear, CastApp, Certain, A La Carte and DocuSign
- Experience supporting groups and conventions teams
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
- Associate's degree or equivalent

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
