Job Description

Elite Paving is seeking a driven, personable, and highly motivated Salesperson / Estimator to join our growing team! This role is responsible for building relationships, evaluating project sites, preparing accurate estimates, and closing work that aligns with our commitment to quality and customer experience. This is a high-impact role within our organization, directly contributing to company growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is confident, professional, and communicates clearly while representing Elite Paving in the field and with clients.
Core Responsibilities :
Sales & Relationship Building. Develop and maintain strong relationships with property managers, business owners, general contractors, and homeowners. Respond to inbound leads and proactively generate new opportunities. Conduct on-site visits to assess project scope and customer needs. Clearly communicate solutions, timelines, and expectations to clients. Follow up consistently to close opportunities and maintain pipeline.
Estimating & Project Evaluation:
Perform site measurements and evaluations for asphalt, concrete, and maintenance work. Prepare accurate and detailed estimates using company systems (OneCrew or equivalent) Ensure scopes of work are clear, complete, and aligned with field execution. Collaborate with operations team to ensure feasibility and proper planning.
Customer Experience:
Deliver a professional, responsive, and high-quality experience from first contact through project handoff. Communicate job start expectations (including 48-hour notice standard) Serve as the initial point of trust before transitioning projects to operations.
What We're Looking For:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Personable, confident, and relationship-driven. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Organized and detail-oriented. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize workload. Preferred (Not Required) Background in construction, paving, or estimating. Experience in sales or customer-facing roles. Familiarity with reading site plans or construction drawings. We are willing to train the right individual with the right attitude and drive.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary:
$55,000
  • $70,000 (based on experience)
Commission Structure:
Performance-based with uncapped earning potential. Typical Earnings
  • Average Year 1: $70,000
  • $90,000
Top Performers:
$90,000
  • $120,000+(Based on current Elite Paving estimator/sales team performance)
