About the
Role:
The Sales Manager at the Slalom Shop Possum Kingdom location will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and enhancing customer satisfaction within the regional market. This position is responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. The Sales Manager will lead a team of sales professionals, providing training and support to ensure they meet their sales targets and deliver exceptional service. Additionally, this role involves analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the business. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader who can inspire their team and foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the marine or automotive industry. Strong understanding of sales strategies and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in outside sales and managing a sales team. Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools. Previous experience in the marine industry or related fields.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve regional sales targets. Lead, mentor, and train the sales team to enhance their skills and performance. Analyze sales metrics and market trends to identify opportunities for growth. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Skills:
The required skills in regional sales and sales strategies will be utilized daily to create targeted approaches that resonate with the local market. Outside sales experience will be crucial for engaging with customers directly and building lasting relationships. Sales training skills will be applied to develop the team s capabilities, ensuring they are equipped to meet their goals. The ability to analyze sales volume and trends will inform decision-making and strategy adjustments. Additionally, leading sales initiatives will require strong communication and motivational skills to inspire the team towards achieving collective success.
