About Houck Construction Inc. We are a privately held design-build firm that has served Los Angeles area for over 30 years and built & remodeled some of Los Angeles' most luxurious homes. We specialize in residential remodels and new-builds for high-net worth discerning clients who expect white-glove service and uncompromising quality. Role:
We are seeking an experienced, hunter-minded Sales Manager to join our Los Angeles team. This position is not a "desk sales" job. You will be in the field, building relationships with architects, designers, realtors, and homeowners, representing the Houck brand, and driving new opportunities from first introduction through signed Construction Agreements. The ideal candidate is currently in the high-end space, an ambitious professional who thrives on networking, relationship selling, and process discipline. You understand the high-net-worth mindset, can speak the language of design and construction, and know how to turn introductions into long-term partnerships. Total Compensation will be composed of base pay plus bonus structure that is weighted heavily on leads generated and contracts signed.
Location:
We are looking for individuals to generate leads in the following locations: Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
Proactively generate new leads each week through networking, partnerships, and referrals. Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and realtors to drive continuous pipeline growth. Conduct client consultations, site visits, and proposal reviews with precision and professionalism. Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Chief Operating Officerto ensure seamless client handoffs and project starts. Maintain all prospect activity and reporting in the company CRM. Attend luxury design and real estate events across the Los Angeles market to represent the Houck brand. Sales Skills and Experience:
5+ years of successful B2C sales in high-end construction, real estate, or design-build environments. Strong existing network within Los Angeles's high-end residential community (architects, designers, realtors). Proven record of exceeding quotas and closing $1M+ high-end residential projects. Comfortable reading plans, understanding scope, and discussing budgets confidently. Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar). Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
