Sales Representative

Kava & Leaf is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Petaluma. While we operate in a space similar to a specialty boutique, we pride ourselves on providing a unique, curated experience for our customers. This is a high-energy, customer-facing position perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with the community and sharing product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement:

Greet every customer with a positive attitude, answer questions about our product selection, and provide personalized recommendations.

Point of Sale:

Efficiently operate the cash register, process transactions accurately (cash and card), and handle basic opening/closing financial procedures.

Store Upkeep:

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming storefront. This includes restocking shelves and ensuring displays look professional.

Product Knowledge:

Stay up to date on our inventory to help guide customers toward the right choices for their needs.

What We're Looking For Reliability:

You show up on time and ready to work.

Communication:

Strong verbal skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of customers.

Tech Savvy:

Comfortable using modern tablet-based POS systems and handling basic math for transactions.

Professionalism:

Ability to represent the brand well in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but not required. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting (restocking).
