GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Sales Support Specialist role entails implementing sales activities to maintain and grow existing business. Those activities include, but not limited to, support in scheduling client phone calls and meetings, following up with clients about their order status, researching new business/markets, enhancing current customer business/service, collaborating with other FruitSmart departments, preparing sales summaries/data, visiting customers and tradeshows, and growing the FruitSmart brand recognition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenueProvide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant issuesAssist in enhancing current service and product variety to existing customer baseLiaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectivesGenerate timely sales reports/summaries/data Assist in the development of sales presentations and proposalsStay current with new product and feature launchesMaintain positive relationship with existing customers and build relationships with new customersSuggest and promote sales process improvementsReview pending orders and specific customer requests to ensure excellent customer service and experienceCollect and analyze competitor data to distinguish sales opportunities

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
