Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Sales Wedding Assistant and be at the heart of creating unforgettable wedding experiences! This position is entry level providing assistance to our Wedding Coordinator on site. It offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality, event marketing, and sales within a lively, supportive environment. Responsibilities Engage with prospective clients to understand their wedding needs and preferences, providing personalized guidance and solutions. Assist in presenting venue options, catering packages, and event services to encourage bookings through effective upselling and negotiation. Coordinate with vendors, catering teams, and event staff to ensure seamless planning and execution of wedding events. Assist in managing client communications efficiently, maintaining detailed records of contracts, budgets, and event details. Support marketing efforts by promoting venue features through social media, email campaigns, and on-site events to attract new clients. Assist with event planning tasks such as scheduling tastings, site visits, and setup logistics to ensure smooth operations on the wedding day. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing client inquiries promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all couples and their guests. Requirements Proven experience in customer service, hospitality, restaurant or hotel settings, or banquet/event management is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining positive client relationships. Knowledge of event marketing, planning processes, budgeting, and contracts is preferred. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and outstanding organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with catering operations, banquet experience, or restaurant/hospitality industry background is advantageous. Pay:
