BASIC FUNCTION
The Account Executive will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing strategic customer relationships for 3PL warehouse services. This role focuses on selling integrated supply chain solutions, including warehousing, transportation, freight forwarding, distribution, fulfillment, and value-added logistics services. The ideal candidate possesses strong sales skills, logistics knowledge, and the ability to build long-term customer partnerships while driving revenue growth
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through various channels. Sell comprehensive 3PL solutions including: Warehousing Distribution Cross-docking Order fulfillment Inventory management Import and export logistics Ocean freight Air freight Drayage Truckload (TL) Less-than-Truckload (LTL) Intermodal transportation Customs brokerage coordination Prepare pricing proposals and quotations. Collaborate with Operations, Warehouse Management, Customer Service, and Transportation teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and service execution. Be strategic with rates and business profitability goals. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products/services to clients. Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to management. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to inform sales strategies. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the company's presence. Complete or assist on special projects as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience within: Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Freight Forwarding Freight Brokerage Import/Export Warehousing Supply Chain Solutions Strong understanding of: Ocean freight Air freight Customs processes Import/Export documentation Warehouse operations Transportation management Strong strategic skills. Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce). Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Working for Whitecrow, Inc.
