Account Executive /
Chronic Therapies Job Summary:
The Chronic Account Executive (CAE) is a driven sales professional focused on growing the Option Care Health portfolio. The CAE will develop and implement targeted sales strategies to drive business growth, establish relationships with healthcare providers, and enhance market opportunities. This role requires strong collaboration with the operations team to resolve customer service issues and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Build Relationships:
Identify, establish, and maintain professional relationships with targeted physician groups and office staff to maximize business opportunities. Respond effectively to their needs with appropriate actions.
Sales Presentations:
Conduct impactful presentations to physicians and office staff, demonstrating effective selling skills with both existing and potential customers.
Customer Service:
Collaborate with clinicians and office staff (e.g., biologics coordinators) to promote Option Care Health and deliver industry-leading customer service.
Territory Management:
Analyze sales data to create and execute effective territory plans. Utilize promotional budget funds wisely.
Team Collaboration:
Maintain strong relationships with regional branch teams to align sales efforts.
Sales Performance:
Maintain a high call average (face-to-face interactions with healthcare providers) as outlined in the sales plan, focusing on top target customers.
Market Knowledge:
Demonstrate expertise in local market dynamics, including competition, payers, and therapies.
Problem Solving:
Work cross-functionally to resolve issues and apply creative problem-solving techniques to improve performance.
Compliance:
Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines of Option Care Health.
Basic Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
○ Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in office-based physician sales with a proven track record of success, OR ○ Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of recent chronic infusion healthcare experience, OR ○ High school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in office-based physician sales with a proven track record of success.
Skills:
○ Proficient in territory analysis and planning. ○ Results-oriented with expertise in the complete selling cycle (call objectives, opening statements, listening, questioning, feature & benefit statements, visual aids, objection handling, closing, post-call analysis). ○ Experience developing and managing business relationships with physician office practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
○ Experience in home infusion or specialty healthcare products. ○ Broad therapeutic area experience. ○ Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing.
Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time for business purposes.
