Uncapped, performance-based Work location: In person in Irvine, California Job Summary American Financial is seeking a motivated Financial Services Account Executive who wants greater ownership of their results and earning potential. As an independent sales professional, you will connect with prospective clients, understand their financial circumstances, clearly explain available options, and guide qualified individuals through the decision-making process. This 1099 opportunity features an uncapped commission structure designed to directly reward individual performance and production. High-performing sales professionals who meet the applicable production requirements can qualify for our top-tier commission rate of 2.75%. Compensation is commission-based without a fixed salary or guaranteed earnings, allowing successful producers to increase their income as their results grow. Qualifications Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills Confidence handling objections and asking for the business Consistent and professional follow-up habits Goal-oriented and motivated by results-based compensation Organized and capable of managing a high-volume sales pipeline Comfortable using CRM software, phone, email, text, and web-based sales tools Coachable and committed to continuous improvement Previous financial services or high-ticket sales experience is preferred but not required Experience in debt relief, lending, mortgages, insurance, tax relief, or call-center sales is a plus Spanish and English bilingual proficiency is a plus but not required Responsibilities Connect with prospective clients by phone, text, and email Manage sales opportunities from initial contact through closing Understand each prospect's financial goals, concerns, and circumstances Clearly and accurately explain available financial products or services Build rapport and help qualified prospects make informed decisions Respond professionally to questions and objections Maintain timely and consistent follow-up Accurately document client activity in the company's CRM Work toward established sales and activity goals Follow company policies and applicable compliance requirements Compensation and Opportunity Uncapped, performance-based commission structure Top-tier commission rate of 2.75% for qualifying production levels Direct connection between individual production and earning potential Flexibility and ownership associated with a 1099 independent contractor opportunity Commission tier eligibility, calculation methods, and complete compensation details are governed by the written independent contractor agreement and commission plan Training and Growth American Financial provides sales training, coaching, and continued professional development to help independent sales professionals strengthen their skills.
