This role requires someone with deep experience selling to Nordstrom buyers and merchant teams, including a strong understanding of Nordstrom private label business. The right candidate will bring trusted relationships, strong product instinct, and the ability to turn trend direction into relevant assortments and compelling sales presentations. Key Responsibilities Lead and grow Nordstrom private label business, along with select department store, off-price, and specialty accounts Build and maintain strong relationships with Nordstrom buyers, merchants, and cross-functional teams Interpret trend decks and customer direction to curate product assortments for each account Present product stories that combine styling vision, commercial relevance, and account opportunity Partner with design, product development, sourcing, and production teams from concept through delivery Manage the full sales cycle, including line presentations, sample reviews, costing, negotiations, delivery follow-up, and reorder opportunities Analyze account performance, identify growth opportunities, and develop seasonal business strategies Travel to customer meetings and market appointments as needed Qualifications 5+ years of wholesale sales, account management, merchandising, or product development experience within apparel Proven experience selling to Nordstrom, with Nordstrom private label experience strongly preferred Existing Nordstrom buyer and merchant relationships Strong understanding of private label apparel development, from concept and CAD review through costing, production, and delivery Experience working with import production and overseas sourcing partners Strong product eye, styling sensibility, and ability to curate assortments by trend, customer, and price point Commercial understanding of retail math, margins, pricing, and account profitability Confident presentation and relationship-building skills Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment Location & Compensation Los Angeles, CA On-site, five days per week Some travel to Seattle and New York required Competitive base salary, performance bonus, and full benefits package Recruiter No Recruiter Benefits offered See Benefits
