Job Description

About the Strike Force The San Diego Strike Force is San Diego's professional indoor football team, bringing fast, high-scoring, up-close football to fans across the region. We're building a partner roster that puts local and national brands in front of an engaged, family-friendly fan base. We're looking for a proven sponsorship seller to lead that effort. The Role You will own corporate partnership revenue for the franchise. That means finding brands, pitching them, closing deals, and making sure partners get enough value that they renew. This is a senior, hands-on seller role for someone who likes building a book of business from the ground up and wants to be paid on results. What You'll Do Build and manage a pipeline of corporate prospects across San Diego County and beyond: local businesses, regional brands, national accounts, and agencies. Design and price sponsorship packages, including naming rights, in-arena signage, digital and social inventory, game-night presentations, community programs, hospitality, and ticket bundles. Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitch decks through negotiation, contracting, and close. Work with team operations, marketing, and game-day staff to deliver on every partner commitment. Run partner engagement, including activations, hospitality nights, recaps and ROI reporting, and renewals and upsells. Represent the Strike Force at community, business, and networking events. Report pipeline and revenue regularly to ownership. What We're Looking For 5+ years of sponsorship, partnership, or B2B sales experience. Sports, entertainment, or live events experience is strongly preferred. A track record of closing five- and six-figure deals. Existing relationships in the San Diego business community are a major plus. Strong presentation, negotiation, and writing skills. You are self-directed and entrepreneurial, comfortable running your own schedule and hitting targets without supervision. Your own reliable transportation, and availability for evening and weekend home games and events. Compensation $50,000 annual base retainer. 20% commission on sponsorship revenue you sell. This is a consulting engagement. No benefits are provided.
